Robert Brazell, Executive Chairman
Rob is the Founder and Founding Board Member of Overstock.com (Nasdaq OSTK), and also served as its President and Chief Executive. He is Chairman of Blue Frogg Holdings, an aggregator of Internet and technology companies: eHow, Delphi, Talk City, and Sandbox. Rob is the co-author of The Idea Economy. He attended the University of Utah on athletic scholarship, and is fluent in Spanish.
Robert Wolf, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining IBN, Rob was an Executive Vice President at VNU, where he created and directed the IMS Advanced Media Analytics Group, working with Nielsen Media Research. From 1999 to 2002, Rob was President of the MediaPlan / Mix Modeling division for Spectra (A.C. Nielsen), part of the Marketing Group of VNU. In 1984, Rob founded MediaPlan, the company that developed the first analytic software systems for media and marketing, used today by major ad agencies and advertisers in over 60 countries around the world. In 1999, MediaPlan was acquired by VNU where it was split and merged with both IMS and A.C.Nielsen. Before founding MediaPlan, Rob worked as an international taxation expert for Arthur Anderson & Co. In San Francisco. Rob is a Graduate of University of California at Berkeley, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Robin Nebel, President and Chief Operating Officer
Robin joined IBN in March, 2007. She was formerly CFO and VP Operations of Ensenda, a technology company for last mile logistics, President and COO of Ellie Mae, the leading provider of software and Internet connectivity for the mortgage industry, and CFO of 800-Software, one of the largest software resellers. She served on the advisory boards of Microsoft, Lotus Development and Ingram Micro, and taught business at the University of California, San Francisco State and Golden Gate University. She received her B.S. and M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Michael Landon, VP Technology
Michael joined IBN in January 2002, shortly after its inception. Prior to being promoted to Vice President of Technology, Michael served as IBN's Director of Research and Development. Introduced to the company as a consultant, Michael was the chief system architect and lead engineer of the team that designed, built, and deployed IBN's initial audio retail network in 1,600 Safeway stores in 2001, and later expanded that system to include interactive video on proprietary shelf screens. During his tenure at IBN, he has driven the technological enhancements to the digital infrastructure underpinning IBN's growth into one of the nation's largest media networks. Michael is a member of the IBN executive team and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Utah State University.
John Morgan, VP Research & Shopper Insights
John brings nearly 20 years of experience in the advertising media business to IBN. John started his career as a Media Planner at Hal Riney & Partners working under the tutelage of David Verklin. Later, John led the development of Web-based media planning and research tools at MediaPlan. He continued as Director of Technology when MediaPlan sold to Nielsen's IMS division. John currently directs IBN's audience estimation and marketing research activities. He earned a degree in Advertising from Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow School of Communication.
Joel Ballstaedt, VP and Controller
Joel has been with IBN since July 2001. Prior to joining IBN, Joel worked in the audit department at Deloitte & Touche, and was the controller at Project Reality, a non-profit substance abuse treatment organization. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, an M.B.A. from the University of Utah and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Doug Burton, VP Creative Services
Doug brings over two decades of experience in broadcast radio (programming radio stations across the country) and marketing & advertising (leading a full service advertising agency) to IBN. He has built an exceptional team of designers, writers, and producers, establishing IN Creative Services as a premier industry supplier of radio and interactive creative solutions. Doug's teams have worked with many of the top consumer packaged goods companies to dramatically increase market share and R.O.I. through in-store media.
